Amazon Application Submitted Under Review

I have submitted two applications about a week ago. Just to clarify, if my application status says submitted, does that mean that it has not yet been reviewed by a recruiter? I see there is a separate section for "Under Review," and my applications have not moved to this section. I have read elsewhere on the forum that the average timeframe is two weeks to hear from a recruiter if chosen to.
