Nextdoor is not what it claims to be. If it isn't in writing, don't believe it. Look at the results. In other words consider all of this: An incident occured in a local neighborhood where a "lead" had a false phone number that lead to a dead-end trail for a roofing company that was not even in the area. Nextdoor seems like a great idea, until you find everything is restricted to a few blocks around your address. That's not the way we live our lives! Since my amicable divorce, I have two addresses, and have friends and family dotted all over. However, the app won't let me interact with anybody except in the immediate vicinity of one of the houses. Pervious a lead, now the real truth. Was a lead for almost a year, trying to moderate the multitude of bad posts re the pandemic. Well I voted to possibly remove a few post and others voted to retain it, simple vote is what matters, then Nextdoor reviews and decides to remove or not.
NextDoor APP I first heard about Nextdoor APP from a client that reviews and writes about different types of technology for Forbes Europe. When I was working on his property, he mentioned that he was going to review NextDoor and mentioned it may be a tool to use to get more connected in the neighbourhood. Also, when I did get a report from a Nextdoor employee, he claimed my second ban of 30 days was a result of my post in a private group. Keep in mind, my posts were all about my harassers! Stay far away from this garbage, Nextdoor's structure of power, only enables the lowest forms of life abuse their power and run amok, target any and all. A search for the keyword “Nextdoor” on the BBB’s scam tracker shows that five households have reported a total of $16,600 lost to home improvement cons since 2016.
